Muscle testing, does it always knows the truth?

When I ask a question and when I pull hard from the 2 interlocking fingers of bothr hands it won't budge, so it's true, I ask another question and it breaks so it's false.

I tried this before, but how do you know its actually telling the truth and not just responding to what you subconsciously believe? 🤔
