Anubis, the Guide God
The jackal-headed god, inventor of mummification, and foremost guardian of the gates of the afterlife. In the Hall of Judgment, he weighs the hearts of the dead against the feather of Ma'at (justice), never showing favoritism.
Divine Origins and Cosmic Laws
In ancient Egypt, jackals often prowled the cemeteries, so they were deified as gods who protected corpses from destruction. He is the navigator of the “intermediate state (Liminal space)”, guiding lost souls through the perilous dark tunnel toward the light of judgment.
Spiritual Powers and Earthly Magical Blessings
He oversees “dispelling the fear of death and the unknown, protecting spiritual practitioners from evil spirits, and perceiving lies.” In the workplace and in life, he can help you strip away hypocrisy and see clearly those petty people whose hearts (motives) are heavier than the feather.
