Why do ppl think spiritual growth is pointless??

hey guys, idk why but lately i've been ***obsessed*** with trying to like, grow spiritually and stuff? 🤷‍♀️ like i just feel like there's gotta be more to life than just working-eating-sleeping-repeat, ya know? but everytime i talk to my friends about it they just kinda roll their eyes and call it a “waste of time” 😩😩 like wtf?? i totally feel like they're missing out on something huge but i can't seem to make them understand... anyone else dealing with this?? or maybe i'm just not explaining it right???? 😖 kinda feel alone in this ngl. any advice or similar experiences would really help rn 🌕✨ thxx!!!
