1. Introduction

Welcome to YuanYu (元宇). These Terms of Service ('Terms') constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User') and YuanYu ('we,' 'us,' or 'our'), a technology entity operating in Malaysia.

By downloading, accessing, or using the YuanYu mobile application ('App') or connecting the TianMingHe hardware ('Device'), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Nature of Services (Cultural & Entertainment)

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER:

The App uses algorithms based on traditional Chinese metaphysics (Bazi, Ziwei Doushu, Qimen Dunjia), Vedic astrology, and Western astrology to generate analysis.

  • For Entertainment Purposes Only: You acknowledge that the insights, 'fortune' ratings, and 'AI Master' interpretations provided are for entertainment, cultural appreciation, and self-reflection purposes only. They are not scientifically proven facts.
  • No Professional Advice: The App does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Do not use the App to make decisions regarding health treatments, legal disputes, or financial investments.
  • Religious Disclaimer: The 'Cultivation' features (Immortal/Buddha/Sage paths) are gamified elements of the App and are not intended to replace or represent formal religious instruction or fatwa.

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

  • Age Limit: You must be at least 18 years old to use this App.
  • Accuracy of Data: You agree to provide accurate birth data (Date, Time, Location). This data is used solely for the mathematical calculation of charts.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.

4. Virtual Currency (Virtue Coins) & Payments

  • Nature of Virtue Coins: 'Virtue Coins' and 'Virtue Points' are virtual game currencies governed by the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transactions) Regulations 2012. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for Ringgit Malaysia (MYR) or transferred to other users.
  • Transactions: Payments are processed via third-party gateways (Stripe/Apple/Google). Prices displayed include applicable taxes (e.g., SST) where relevant.
  • Refund Policy: All purchases of Virtue Coins and Subscriptions are final. We do not offer refunds once the digital goods have been credited to your account, except where required by the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

5. TianMingHe Hardware

  • Usage: The App connects to the TianMingHe device via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to generate random seeds for divination.
  • Warranty Limitation: We do not warrant that the Device will work with every mobile phone model sold in Malaysia. We are not liable for hardware damage caused by misuse, water damage, or extreme humidity.

6. Community Guidelines (CMA 1998 Compliance)

To ensure a harmonious community, you agree not to post content that:

  • Is offensive, menacing, or false (violation of Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998).
  • Promotes illegal gambling, scams, or unverified financial schemes.
  • Incites racial or religious disharmony.

Privacy: You must not share the Bazi (Birth Data) of other individuals in the community without their explicit consent.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including the 'YuanYu' trademark, algorithms, Mandala designs, and code, is the property of YuanYu. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal use.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law: YuanYu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
  • We are not responsible for any life decisions you make based on the App's predictions.

9. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
